Deck Profile Glitch???

I'm trying to get the metal decking profile to show up for my roof in section. I was able to get my floor slabs to display the profile in section, but for some reason my roof won't. I've even tried duplicating my floor and applying it to the roof, but it still displays as a straight line. Can anyone help please?!

The images are showing that when I open "edit: structure" the preview displays the profile, but in the section drawing it is displayed as a straight line.

Probably because you did some "slab editing" to the floor that is your roof. Once you add in the sloped top by editing the points, the ability to use decking profiles goes away.

Oh, okay. Yeah, the sloping was my try at tapered insulation. Instead of sloping the floor slab should I add another one on top and slope that to show tapered insulation? What's the common practice in Revit for showing tapered insulation?
