There are some new features in Navisworks that you might want to check out when you get the shipping version next month. Some of my favorites are:
1. Section tool that you can manually manipulate! No more guessing as to where the section is or the section box for that matter. You now have a gizmo which is really nice.
2. Gantt chart tab for Timeliner so you can view your MS Project or other project management software in a Gantt view format within Timeliner. This is extremely useful for coordinating the simulation with MS Project or Primavera.
3. Support for Revit Room data and objects! Yeah!
4. Batch Export Utility (subscription tool, now in main interface)
5. FBX support for import and export (subscription tool, now in main interface).
6.Consolidated navigation.
When I did some sneak peeks for what is new in Navisworks 2011, the first two where pretty much my favorites. I also appreciate that while Autodesk added the ribbon to this interface, they also built in a switch to switch back to the classic interface.
