Hello
Typically when you use the circle command, you get a 'rubberband line' that follows your cursor to show you the approximate size of you circle until the user enters a number at the prompt or selects a spot on the workspace. However, one of our users has lost this rubberband line, and we can't seem to figure out how to get it back to normal.
Any ideas on how to get it back to normal? We can't figure out if some option and/or sys var was changed to turn off the rubberband or sketch line within in the circle command. Thanks.

Check your DRAGMODE variable.

Check your DRAGMODE variable.
Yeah, I thought that but changing it seems to make no difference (A2010).

DRAGMODE ON & OFF displays nothing, but Auto shows the rubber band (In my 2010 anyways).

Well, there's a funny thing.
In any of the standard visual styles, Dragmode on/off/auto has no effect on the rubber band whilst in the Circle command. :screwy:
A graphics card/driver difference perhaps? (nVidia card DirectX driver)

ATI Raedon HD3470, 512MB
I checked a few visual styles; they showed dragmode displaying in Auto setting.

DRAGMODE seems to make a difference on my cad station. However, I will communicate this to the user that is having this issue to see if it is corrected. I can't imagine that it would be a graphics problem since the station has been operating just fine for many many moons already... but we shall see.
Appreciate the help.

It makes my circle disappear, but the radius line is still there. Which line is the OP referring to?? The radius line or the actual circle?

The temporary radius line but, you're right - dragmode affects the temporary circle but not the temporary radius (for me).
