Do you know anyone who uses Maximo for CMMS and actually links it to Archibus for Asset or Space Management?

We've spoken with a couple of facilities who use both programs, but, so far, no one seems to actually have the two systems 'talking' to one another.

I'd love it if anyone could introduce me to someone who has done this.

There have been a few companies that I have run into that claim to have done integrations but the truth seems to be that they are offline integrations and only very limited in any data that is being shared.

Thanks for chiming in with your experiences.

There are examples of the databases of both systems writing data back and forth to each other (http://www.archibus.com/success/success_story.cfm?ssid=46, http://www.archibus.com/success/success_story.cfm?ssid=32) and they are limited as Evan commented. The key to these types of "integrations" is to choose which data and activities live in which system and reduce the redundancies in data exchange so you don't have to sync up systems every minute.

John,
Thanks very much for the links. And, I wholeheartedly agree with you about attempting to reduce redundancies.

Cheers!
