Hi guys could any of you tell me any good sites that i could go to download components for revit, i need stuff like furniture, windows, fittings-kitchen and bathroom, site stuff, 3d people etc. I have used some of the standard components with revir program but would like to add different ones into my more recent projects.
Thanks Again

Man there are lots of them now. http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=revit+families&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=467c3568f2eec009
For as long as I can remember I wanted to sell my cool Revit Families. Now I am 8 years older and everyone is doing it. So much for being lazy.

Likewise with ANY website based free content site..........
There's "good stuff" and "bad stuff" on all of these sites, you just have to
check the families out before loading into your project or placing in your
firm's library.
But, there ARE some good families available, and the SEEK site does have
a procedure for content providers to follow--LOL.
The alternative is to create it all from scratch--there goes that fee, which was already low
to begin with.......

I'm still bitter over my last attempt, a Delta shower fixture. Worst thing: not to any known scale factor. Took me by such surprise that I had a hard time believing it. And I was attracted to the item because it had some (I forget exactly what - maybe a star) appearance of endorsement by ADesk. Total BS.
Do mfr's use high school drafting students as interns to create this stuff, thinking that they look good by posting content & save $$ at the same time? For me, I'll have to get a trailer full of free Delta samples before I use or spec their stuff again.

Just remember that if you go to a site that is other than the manufacturer's, what you get may not be accurate. A lot of the early stuff posted on RevitCITY was made by users because there was no content provided from manufacturers. That is why you should always look at the family and verify it is what you want.
