Revit 2010

is it possible to see an imported site image in {3D}? VG shows Raster Images / Visibility is checked so why isn't it visible? I notice that Import > Image is greyed-out when in {3D}, so that can't be good.

the image views as expected in the site floor plan.

Any workarounds if this isn't possible?

thanks

You could place the image as a decal, and then render the 3D view.

In about 4 days, Revit 2011 will be released, and it has a graphics feature to show material
maps in shaded views. ( i.e. before rendering you can see materials, sort of like Sketchup.)

So--in RAC 2011, you could make a material with the image you need and place it so it will show in the 3D shaded view.

cheers......

Try to change the element properties from Opaque to Transparent.
