Greetings all and thanks to those who reply:
Recently after viewing and pringint a file I received in DWF format, I attempted to plot a DWG file. The program crashed and I received the following message:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation reading 0x0004 Exception at ef2c30h.
Have anyone else had this problem or have an idea how to correct it?
In a possibly related matter, when I attempted to change paper size before plotting, I selected the plotter from the drop down list and clicked on Properties, but insted of getting the Properties dialogue box, I got the Plotter Configuration Editor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I see that type of error regularly. C3D 2009 seemed to hit it the least, now I seem to be seeing it more in C3D 2010.

The only thing you can do is restart C3D and try again. If you consistently get the same crash with the same drawing file in a reproducible fashion, then the best thing to do is open a support request with Autodesk and see if they can duplicate it.

Thanks sinc,
i had not encountered this problem before, although I hadn't been using AutoCAD for a few years until recently. The problem cropped up after plotting DWF drawings I received from an outside source. Not sure if there's a connection. The program consistently crashes when trying to plot some drawings but not others. I'll see if I can get any support from Autodesk.
Best Regards,
Tom
