Yo,
I am modeling a sloped roof with 3/4" wood sheathing over wood I-joists. When I add the beams I pick the roof as the plane for the I-joists.
Trouble is the beam goes to the TOP of the sheathing and not the bottom?!?!?!?! And there does not appear to be any way to move it to the bottom of the sheathing.
I could make a separate reference plane at the bottom of the sheathing and attach the I-joists there but that defeats the purpose and nice simplicity of using the roof plane?
Am I missing something or is this just a flaw in the program? (The roof plane should work like a level works, allowing the beam to be raised or lowered.)
Thanks and have a great day!
