I kept trying to download 2011 using the download manager but it would just hang and never start downloading. I decided to change the download settings so it would download using the browser. That worked great....until I clicked on the downloaded exe file. I keep getting the attached error. I've redownloaded it and three times. Any suggestions?

I also had issues downloading. What finally worked was downloading it to my desktop.

I've heard some people having issues with IE8 and the download manager. It worked perfectly for my using IE8, but try doing it with Firefox.

I'll try that but I originally downloaded it to a download folder on my desktop.

I'm running Win 7 64 pro on a Dell laptop. I went home, started downloading both Revit and ACA with the download manager, and went back to work. When I got home that night it was done and installed with no problems (other than me entering the wrong license info lol).

Well, that's the same setup I have, but when I try the download manager it trys to start and says that it is calculating the download time and then changes to pause. I'm downloading it to my desktop as suggested by johnf.77896. If that doesn't work I'll install firefox and see what that does.

Dave, I am having exactly the same problem on my 64 bit machine, but fine on the 32 bit. I have a call in to the Imaginit tech people and will post the solution, if they have one, when I get the issue resolved. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Running Vista, EI 8.

Actually, mine stops at the same place but just says Autodesk Design Review is not empty, do I want to continue? I think the issues are similar.

I don't understand it, but johnf.77896 was correct. I downloaded the file to my desktop and it's going thru the setup now.....thanks

It did the same thing to me because I had 2010 installed. I said yes and it overwrote it. No problem.

I deleted my Design Review file, turned off my firewall and antivirus and it worked. It may have just been a case of deleting the Design Review, but it worked.
