In our office we have a family we use for a room tag. It has a label inside that we edit to put the name in but sometimes its too big for one line. I know I can go into the family and change the text box size so that it wraps when it gets too long but I'm wondering if there is a way to do this on an instance basis. Sometimes we have large labels in small rooms so we would like to make that text wrap to the next line where as in a big room it could be on one line. I hope that makes sense.

There is no way to have a tag haqve an istance parameter for this. The best you can do is to make a couple of types within the tag, duplicating the labels with different lengths, and then control their visibility using Yes/No PArameters. Then if the title is too long, you change the type (that would wrap sooner)
Good Luck!

Agree with Scott.
What I have done in the past is if you select the room and go to the room name in the properties then you can use "ctrl + enter" to split up long room names into 2 lines.
This works a treat although I don't tend to use it all the time because as a consequence this split of room names into 2 lines repeats in room schedules as well which I don't like.
However you may be ok with this.

Ok, thanks for the input. I just ended up coping the label then having two different families in the set. One for single line and one for double line text and then turned them on/off in the appropriate family.
I think it will work.
