I’ve set up my floor plan view range to show a few floor below (high rise building)
I want the line work of everything below my floor to show in grey. How do I control that?

Use an Underlay in the view to show a level below, which will show as grey.

Turn it on in View Properties>Underlay, and select the Level/Plan you want to see below.

You can then use "pick lines" on the underlay to draw model lines, and then set them to any graphic line style, color, weight, etc that you need.

cheers

thanks cliff, I've actually seen a way to do this in some video a while ago and it took some trial and error to get it to work but basically this is the trick:

set view range settings: Primary Range Bottom: to associated level and view depth level to unlimited (or however down you want to go)

next go to Manage/Line Styles and change the beyond line to a grey line..

and that's it, works like a charm.. I've basically set up all my plans for this and they look great..

PS one warning though when make a selection make sure not to select the objects below by mistake..
