Tag by catagory arrows

is there away to adjust what the arrow points to? on some items the arrow is not in a legable location and i would like to move to another point on the item, or a item may be "L" shaped and the arrow points to the georaphical center and not on the item....

Under the leader settings, I believe you can select "free end" which allows the arrow head to be moved wherever you want it.......
