Hi - Can anyone describe the level knowledge required to become a certified AutoCAD user and pass the exam?

Is the test professional user exam geared for someone who has been using Autocad in the workplace for a number of years; maybe 5-7 years who understands all the basic concepts in carrying a project through submittal?

Or, is it an extensive test for a user who knows the software through and through; LISP, latest 2009/2010 updates, complete knowledge of the CUI (on a serious modification level).. etc?

Thanks

I took (and passed) the 2010 Associates and Professional exams last year. There are no questions on the CUI or lisp, or 3D. The test involved the more basic commands with the associates test being a trivia test and the Professional test being a practical exam where you are using the program for each question.

You can buy a prep exam guide so you know pretty much what areas are covered in the test.

Their idea of a professional level leaves something to be desired.
