I have a drawing where the snap is set to 0.001 in both X and Y so the crosshair moves nice and smoothly. When I xref in a drawing the crosshair starts jumping about like the spacing is at 10 or something.
When I open this same drawing on 2010 it works fine. I thought it might be something to do with visretain in some far out way, but it's not.
Any ideas?
I have no clue why this would happen. VISRETAIN only handles the settings of layers for XREF drawings.

I know, it was long shot, I thought it might somehow remember other settings from the xref.
Thought it might be something new to 2011 that was shown in the new features workshop I cant get access too :D
It must be somethig to do with the xref though because when I unload it the drawing works fine. Currently I am having to use 2010 becasue it's unworkable.

Try setting snap to a large number and turn it off; see if that makes a difference.

Solved it,
It was because selection cycling had been clicked along the bottom. Again I have no idea what this is because my help link is broken. I don't believe this was on 2010 but It might have just slipped by me.
But unclicking it solves the crosshair jumping.
