Has anyone experienced their shared parameter file zero out for no apparent reason. I have created hundreds of parameters and all of my custom content and schedules rely on these parameters. However, from time to time I will go to add a parameter to a new family and find that my parameter file is empty. I assumed that this was some problem related to the replication software we use, so we would just restore the file from the previous day and keep going. Currently, we have our replication turned off and it happened again. So, now I know it isn't caused by that process. Also, I am the only person with write permissions to the library folder, so I know that no one has unintentionally erased the contents manually.
Unfortunately, we have our back-ups turned off on that drive while we are making some repairs, so the latest back-up copy I will be able to retrieve is nearly a month old. Won't be the end of the world, but I would really like to know what the **** is going on. The same thing regularly happens to our keynote files. I was going to blame that on replication, as well... but it looks like something else is to blame.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
