A couple of weeks ago I posted a question on creating a roof that slopes two ways. The response I got was great ant the solution posted worked well. I am now back at this project. The project is a dairy barn that slopes .75% over it's 168'-0" length. The entire barn structure has to slope. I have the set up reference planes for floors, footings , eaves, and can get everything to follow these. The only thing that does not co-operate is the structural wall footings. They will not attach to the bottom of the wall, which is attached to the reference plane. I have done a search of threads, but find no help. Any suggestions on how to get the footings to attach to the wall?

Thanks

From my experience, the footings should be stepped, not sloped.

So edit the profile of the conc. foundation wall, then attach the footings.

Hope this is what you are after?

I would just do an in-place family consisting of a sweep profile and sweep path using the picked lower edges of your walls.

The other option is to create the footings as wide, short walls and attach the top and bottom to ref planes. You would still need to 'trim' the ends if you wanted to have them square to the bottom.

Thanks all, I'll try that.
