Two Ceilings - How do I make them? was..."pls see this"

I want to learc how to create this kind of ceiling. it is some what interesting to study

The one on the left would be a Roof by Extrusion or In place Ceiling.

The one on the right is using Walls with sweeps for the cove and Ceiling for the horizontal.
