Well this really sucks!
I'm told revit and autodesk architecture 2011 won't run on my, not that old, machine because my processor is not SSE2 compliant.
So now, at the worst of times, I either need to stick with the older versions or buy a new work station.
I am able to get a fairly good deal at HP and was wondering what is the best WS they have to offer Would rather hear it from people in the biz than HP. I want to go 64bit with at least a 21" monitor. Best video card available for rendering, photo editing etc.
Any advice?
Thank You,
Phil

What type of processor is it? Ours are Pentium 4 HT (which are 4-5 years old) and they are SSE2 compliant.

Thanks Cliff. I re-posted this in that forum but the latest post in there is 2010. So, either it's not often used or your link is date specific.
Dean- not in front of my pc right now but it's an AMD athlon{tm} xp2700+. Only 4 or 5 years old.
