2010 Ribbon freak out

Is this happing to any one else in 2010. This happen every hour or so and it won't go away until I restart. I did reinstall revit

nothing else is effected but the ribbon and menus. Any ideas how to fix it.....

See if turning off hardware accelleration fixes this.

Revit>Options>Graphics>Direct 3D turn off

I assume that you have had 2010 running for sometime and this only recently started happening.

If so, I would also check any recent updates updates to the OS or the driver for the video card and maybe revert to an earlier saved point for the OS to see if that resolves the issue.

I had a Lenovo T61p which ran 2009 great (windows XP32bit), when i upgraded to 2010 the ribbon did exactly the same, i tried pretty much everything to get rid of it, never went away.
Changed my laptop to a Lenovo W500 (same XP32bit build) and all was fine.

I concluded it was old graphics hardware that just wasent comptible.

Not much help, but could just be the graphics hardware/firmware

can you list some specs of your machine
