I'm in serious need of help. We are transitioning to 2011, pretty much skipping 2010 for most of the users here. We're running into a problem with existing files when we open them in 2010 or 2011 where the text around fractions, especially in xref's, will get pushed off to the right and the fractions seem to spread out. I'm attaching two screen shots.

Most of the time the problem won't show up immediately, only when you print. So the drafter works away, goes to print and then all the text is in shambles. A temporary fix seems to be to reload the xref just before printing but sometimes it happens in non-xrefed entities.

I'm guessing this has something to do with RomanS but I'm not entirely sure. Any ideas on where to start? We've replaced all the AutoCAD standard fonts in our font folder with the latest versions from the latest install. It seems to be fixable by replacing RomanS with Simplex but that seems like a bad solution for all the legacy files we have.

Thanks,

Tom

I have you tried using the standard fonts (SHX files) from the 2009 version? I can't remember the last time I updated our SHX files with the new version. I think we are using the SHX files from 2002.
