Edit Crop Shape / Non-Rectangular in 2010?

I've searched the archives, but can't determine if it's possible to create a non-rectangular crop window. People were complaining about this lack of functionality back in 2004 (the latest post I found), so my fingers are crossed.

6 years later, is it possible to define a 'complex' (non-rect) crop boundary?
