does anyone has solution for the following issue:
since wall sweep can only be created as horizontal or vertical, so using line-based GM w/ share parameter length will be the obvious choice for exterior wall batten stuff, everything is OK except it won't cut through wall (siding/etc.) so takeoff of siding/etc. is not correct because it still include batten area which should be excluded.
to my knowledge, you can only use face based GM family in order to cut something at project level, but ther's no line + face based GM template in Revit, perhaps i should try nesting face based GM into line based GM to see what happens?
