Excentric Wall Core Center Aligned locked to Grid

Is there something I`m missing about this simple problem? You have a wall where the core center is not the same with the wall center. You draw the wall based on Center Core Location over a Grid. When i try to lock to the grid this center of core i don`t find it using TAB ....only wall center. Or when you draw the wall you don`t have a check box for automatic locking to the grid based on Loc Line of the wall. The only way to do it is to put a dimension from the grid to the face of core and lock it and then Hide in View the dimension?

Try using the align command and snap the wall's core to the grid.

To find the wall's center of core, click on Align > set the preference to Center of Core.
