Just installed ACA2009 on my new Windows 7 machine. Express Tools did not install. From reading these forums, I guess that it's because I did not check the express tools box in the custom setup during installation.

Unlike XP and prior, Windows 7 does not have "add programs" in the control panel as some of the postings have suggested. If I put the disc in, it gives me no options to go back and install express tools or any other component, it just indicates that ACA2009 is already installed on my machine.

Am I going to have to do a complete uninstall/reinstall ACA to get express tools??

Does this Gizmodo article (http://gizmodo.com/5138189/win-7-tip-where-the-hell-is-addremove-programs) help in locating the Add/Remove Programs option from XP?

Opie, you are the Man! Changing the control panel view to small icons brings up "programs and features" which is equivalent to the "add remove programs" in XP. Once there, it's a snap to check the Express Tools option box and have that feature installed.

Thanks again!

but isn't it ridiculous that you need to change the view style?

That is a little silly, expecially since you would think it they'd have addressed between Vista and W7, but as it the case often in life, we must manage our expectations to achieve true contentment Grasshopper ;)-

Here's an alternative - in Explorer, click "Control Panel" and then "All Control Panel Items". :)
