Detail Component Line Wt

Hello all,
I am trying to change the line weight on a detail component and the only options I'm getting is Detail Line, Hidden Line, and Invisible Line. Is there anyway I could get the line weights I have in my project into the family for my detail component?

You have to go in to Object Styles in the Detail Component and add in the lineweights for Detail Items.

Just for clarification's sake; Detail Line, Hidden Line and Invisible Line are Object Styles that are available in the default Detail Component template. If you want your detail component to be controlled by an Object Style that already exists in your project then simply add that Object Style as Aaron suggests.

These are not to be confused with the Line Styles that you use to place detail lines in a project. If you look in your Visibility Graphics dialog you'll see that these are controlled by two different Categories in the Model Objects tab. Detail Lines that are placed in the project are controlled by the "Lines" category in your view graphics as well as the Line Styles that are available in the project. Lines that are placed in Detail Components are controlled via the "Detail Items" subcategories in Model Objects tag of the Visibility Graphics (as well as Object Styles) dialog.

If you create a subcategory in a detail component family and load it into a project, that subcategory will then exist in the project.
