Revit 2011 Automatic Text Numbering

Well it's a step in the right direction I guess. Does anyone know a way to get automatic numbering to skip spaces? Here is what I want to do:

1. blah blah
blah blah

2. blah blah
blah blah


Here is what Revit does:

1. blah blah
blah blah
2.
3. blah blah
blah blah

Anyone have any ideas or work-arounds? It actually looks the way I want until I finish the text box.
