Refresh Button For Tool Palettes

I am updating a tool palette and I want to share it with another user. I have copied the files to a directory and pointed both of us to that directory in the options. However, I have made some changes to the tool palette and I cannot get those changes to reflect on his machine. It's like where is the refresh button For tool Palettes?

Right click on the side of the tool palette and pick properties, is the 'refresh from' and 'auto-refresh' boxes ticked?

I have copied the files to a directory and pointed both of us to that directory in the options.

You better make sure that only one person has WRITE access to this directory. If more than one person does, the last one out wins.

... and check for tool palette group useage... if he has different groups than you, he might have a local copy of the palette ATC files which would need to be deleted for the new versions to be seen.

is the refresh button now removed from ACAD2016 as I can't find it in there.

It is under Properties... when you right click on the title bar (docked) or right side of the tool palette (undocked).
