View Full Version : Alignment Station label that is perpendicular to alignment

Is it possible to make an alignment label style that shows the alignment station perpendicular to the alignment? This would be an almost exact copy of the OTB Horizontal Geometry Labels except I want it to be at a station that I specify.

I can get the label to look the same as the PI labels but it will only orient itself to a definite angle. There is no option (that I know of) that will allow my label to be perpendicular to the alignment.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Under the "General tab" set "Orientation Reference" to Object. Under the Layout tab, change the "Rotation Angle" to 90°.

I appreciate the quick response. My orientation reference is locked to "view" and it is also locked in the label style defaults. I can't find any way to unlock this, but I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple.

Go to the settings tab in the Toolspace palette. Right click on the active drawing name and select "Edit Label Style Defaults". Expand "Behavior" and make sure Orientation Reference is unlocked.

That's where it was. Thanks a bunch.
