In our project we own the interior of our building and the building shell is linked in. For our final set of drawings we will need to coordinate and add door tags, room tags, callouts, sections, etc. for items that are in the linked in model.
What is the best way to do this? Can we tag doors and rooms that are in a linked in model?
Also is there a way to bring sheets from a linked in model into our project?
Thanks in advance!

Doors you can tag from the Link, in 2011. Rooms, you cannot in anvy version yet.
Set up a plan in the Linked File (Have your consultants do it), and have them tag the rooms and doors. Then set your VG:RVT link to By Linked View, and select that room. Youll need your consultants to do it anyway, since you cant edit the names or information in the doors and rooms regardless.
You cannot bring in sheets from another model, only views. And those, you do as described above. You make your own copy of the view, and set it to BLV.

Thanks Aaron!
Excuse my ignorance, but how do you copy a view from a linked in file? Also, we are using Revit 2010, can we still tag doors in this version?

Nope. In 2010 the whole thing has to get done as By Linked View.
I didnt mean an actual copy and paste, i meant you have to mimic it and make a copy of the view. Bear in mind View depth, Far clip, crop region extents, etc, will NOT be By linked View, they come from the view in your project.
