I'm having issues with walls not cleaning up properly. Or they cleanup, then a few minutes later they are not. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
I've tried changing the wall alignment and join geometry, which temporarily fixed the problem, but then it unjoined as soon as something is created near that wall. I even tried Copy/Pasting into a new project. Same problem....
Any ideas?

Try clicking the blue dot at the end of a wall that doesn't clean up properly,
and select "disallow join". Then note the way it behaves with other walls/ geometry near it.
Have you tried using the wall join tool, and selecting "butt" "miter", and cycling through
all of the combinations?
Perhaps post an example so we can see exactly what the problems are?
cheers......

Off the top of my head.
- Are the walls the same types?
- Are they at odd or sharp angles?
- Are any of them stacked walls?
Just a couple situations I've had trouble with in the past.

Do those walls have any warnings associated with them? Highlighted walls overlap? Warnings about top or bottom offsets?
Warnings in general, eff up wall joins. Especially if the walls involved are CREATING the warnings.
Post them in the blank file, so we can take a peek?

Try clicking the blue dot at the end of a wall that doesn't clean up properly,
and select "disallow join"....
right click menu->disallow join
edit:
a small hollow "T" shaped icon should show near the blue dots where wall ends have disallowed joins (clicking it allows joins), i wish there was an icon for joined walls so i could just click to disallow!

No weird angles, tried disallow joins, tried dragging the blue dot to different points of the intersecting wall, made sure none of my wall types are wrapping any materials, using the same materials, tried the wall join tool, made sure all walls are the same height and work plane...nothing worked...
Even walls of the exact same type won't stay clean....Any chance this could be a graphics card issue?
I attached a PDF that shows some walls cleaning up and others aren't.

Here's the rvt file for you to test out. If it works for you, at least it may narrow it down to a cpu issue.

Check and see if the Core Boundary in one of the wall types is not in the correct position
in the wall's structure. The location of the Core Boundary is important for wall joins to work
properly.
The Core Boundary ( as I recall ) should not be at the exterior or interior extent--move it up/down so it's the 2nd layer in from the exterior and interior faces.
see attached
hope that helps

Do you have a room separation line touching the walls, this is a typical cause of join issues as room separation lines behave just like walls.

Its very odd. I downloaded the file, and they dont behave correctly, for how that wall is built.
They WILL clean up for me if i edit wall joins at a simple L connection, or if i join geometry at a + connection.... But you flat out shouldnt have to. Something is way goofy there.

Good thought on the room separation, but I checked, and I had none so that's not it.
I'm beginning to think the file is just corrupted in some way...

Try re creating (not duplicating) the wall type and change all the walls to the new type. Maybe that will fix it?

Are any of the walls set to stuctural bearing walls - possibly the exterior and some of the bath walls?
