A girl here at work, has a problem whenever she types in the Hatch or Layer Manager shortcut command. The options only show up in the command line, no flyout, or menu pop ups? Im assuming its just a simple setting? I've searched a bunch and came up short. We're using '09. Any ideas?
TIA
Alex
Possibly the CMDDIA system variable is set to 0. Try changing it to 1.

What is she typing?
"H" for hatch; "LA" for layer manager - note, no hyphens.
Do the command names in the pgp file match the function names? (no hyphens).
Use the Express Tools Alias editor to check or find the file in a location something like -
"C:\\Users\\[user name]\\appdata\\roaming\\autodesk\\[autocad version]\\[file version]\\enu\\support\\acad.pgp".

Correct. No hyphens. We're all using the same pgp file. And seems to be her machine is the only one doing it. I was just at her desk and checked using hyphens, and no hyphens, and it still does the same command line style options.
I also tried the filedia, 0/1 and no change.
I have not tried the CMDDIA settings tho.

I tried CMDDIA but it made no difference (in 2010).
What happens when you type "hatch" or "bhatch" in full?

What exactly does the alias editor do? I checked it out, and it seems like it lets me "change" a shortkey command to something else? Is this way off?
Yup, H for hatch, LA for layer manager. If she types -h, h it does the same command line options. And -la, or la it still does the same command line options. It's weird. We've been running the same pgp file for years, and her acad is nothing new. Seemed like a sudden change on her machine only??

Nope. "hatch' and "bhatch" still do command line options. Is it possible she's accidentally changed a sys varible? Or that she's pathed to a different pgp?
I also had her try the CMDDIA, and nothing.

Try "~hatch" - (tilde)
