I am deriving a 3d site from Google earth into autocad civil 3d. then transferring it to revit.
I saw an option to obtain the surface with image. but when I import it to revit the image isn't there. reason for the image is to know location of pond and existing house, road.

That is correct, the embedded image in the autocad file will not import with the CAD file. If you need to locate the pond and buildings, I suggest you do that in the CAD filke with linework, then import it.

Also do you know of a way to derive the linework from google earth for the pond, house, road? or is a matter of eyeballing it through linework drawn from CAD.

The eyeball method is going to be the easiest and quickest. More accuracy is going to require a survey.
