for our company standard we use ARCHItxt font with a width factor of .80 to conserve space. The problem is I can't change this width factor in my schedules. I did some searches & I know this was not possible in v05 & has been a wish list item but we're using 2010 & I want to know if this is still not possible.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know still not possible. as an out of the box thought, my old firm used Architxt (which I never liked, but that's a whole other thread...). Anyway, we found a font called Architxt Narrow which was basically the same as Architxt with a roughly .8 width. Don't remember where we got it unfortunately and I don't think I can post here with copyright. Look around though and you can probably find it...

No, there is no option to change the width factor, but you could change the font of your columns in the Appearance tab of your schedule. For example, instead of "Arial" use "Arial Narrow".

Thanks Guy's,

That's kind of what I thought. I did find the ARCHItxt narrow font. I agree, I'm not a big fan of that font either.

If you have set widths....you may want to create a detail component with the lines set to your standards....then you can eyeball the lines in the schedule to the detail...

This method also comes in handy if you want to have alternating fills for each line of your schedule...(just remember to turn off the lines within the schedule itself before printing.

FYI, this was fixed in Revit 2016
