I think I've run into this one before, but can't recall the resolution. I have a drawing from a vendor with arrowheads that don't display on some PC's but do on others. The Dimstyle uses the normal ACAD "Closed Filled" arrowhead, and that is the only arrowhead type that won't show up (Closed Blank, Dot, Open 30, whatever... they all work). I've purged all dimstyles down to "STANDARD" and reloaded my styles and still no dice. And yes, "Apply Solid Fill IS checked in OPTIONS.

In modelspace or paperspace? (Or both?)

If paperspace, are the viewports set to hidden display?
If both, are you looking at true plan views? (PLAN command).
What is the value of TARGET? It can be reset to 0,0,0 via the DView command\POints option and may be a solution.

No dice on all accounts. The strangest thing is that it occurs on a user's machine, but not on mine. Leads me to believe it's a variable related to display and relative to the session, not the drawing.

Check to see if the other machines visual style is set to 2D Wireframe...not 3D wireframe.

I have searched and searched for the variable to toggle this. My machine has this same problem, it is the only one in the office with this. I can open the same drawing on a different machine and no problem.

Solids do not show up, Arrowheads will only show up on leaders and not dims.

Not-so-simple solution: Reinstall CAD. PITA, but it worked.
