Hi,
I have created a Generic Model panel (Reglit glass panels), created a Curtain Panel family where 2 GM Reglit panels are then assembled into. The assembled curtain panel is put into a curtain wall. The wall grid adjusted and doors put in. This work as i intended.
But now, when I view the door in plan view, I can see the GM panels above the door. Normaly these would disappear, when I put in a door - as they are above the cut plane. I can in plan view select the panels when using [TAB] on them individually, but not when selecting with a window. Screen-dumps attached to explain..
When I change one of the GM panels to a system panel, the cut behaves correctly, and the panel is not seen in plan view.
What could I have possibly done wrong? Should the assembly be a native curtain panel? This would not be perfect, as I want to use the same GM panel for doors etc. and still be able to take out collected areas etc. Both families should behave the same way, as far as I can tell in the Help documentation.
regards, troels
