how to edit hatch pattern.

I have an existing .pat file in my model that is for 300x100 offset bricks .
I want one that is 600mm x 200mm . the exact same as the first only bigger.

what is the easiest way to make this second .pat file ?
how do I export an existing pat file in revit to be modified ?

No need to modify the PAT file, just import the pattern at scale 2.0.

Search the forums, this has been covered many times before.

Add this line to the pattern definition just below the pattern title:
;%TYPE=MODEL

I find editting the patterns really confusing sometimes.

it's too bad that there can't be a little thumbnail that pops up to draw in , when you want to create a custom hatch .pat file.
