How to Roll Back Previuos Layout in a Workset?

I have a problem on how to roll-up back the previous layout i have made in workset.
When you save a local file it will give you a back up folder but we I don't when to use those file in it.
Is there any possible way to roll back those previous layout since we already override for the day by day work on a worksets?
