Wall Void

I used a voids to replace the wall opening in a window family in order to create a custom opening with varying sizes and depths. The only problem is the void does not adjust to the wall thickness in the project. Is there a way to lock the thickness of the void to the wall faces in the family.

From a left or right view, align and lock the faces of the void extrusion to the faces of the wall. You might need additional reference planes aligned to the faces of the wall, first.

Align and lock your void sketch to the wall face (tab key). Flex the generic wall in the family to verify.

Thanks, I was trying to do it in the plan view and wasn't getting any locks to set.
