has anyone worked with linking in a file from autosprink? I am getting a 3d .dwg file from my consultant.

there are a few minor issues, but the biggest issue is that the file does not get cut properly in any of of the project views. sprinkler pipes show up in floor plans (when i've verified that it is in the correct spot per 3d and section) and the pipes do not cut in in sections and appear in front of beams/walls.

Did you link it directly in? Try importing it into an in-place Generic Model family, then look at a cut. This sometimes improves the look.
