Curtain wall Mullion help

I am trying to add a horiz mullion to the panes as shown on image.. after unpinning the top mullion and copying it..i keep getting an error message

"Mullions and panels cannot be copied without copying the entire curtain wall."

please give me direction on how to add mullions in curtain walls and storefront systems

Use Add Curtain Grid instead of trying to copy. Use the tab key and watch the properties
on the mouse fly-out and in the lower left corner of the screen to see exactly which piece you are selecting--make sure it's curtain grid.

The new hor. grid will run all the way thru and mess up the door. It's OK.
Now use add/rmove segments to delete the segment at the door. You may need to replace the curtain panel with the storefront door after cleaning this up.

or use the Gridline Segment option. Just add the Mullion grid which will extend from jamb to jamb then using Mullion/Gridline Segment just pick each side. This does have to be done before the door is swapped for the curtain panel
