Roof slope:

1. Use the slope arrow, specify height at head and tail of arrow while in sketch mode,
above a Level--say Level 1.

2. Use the "defines slope" on one of the purple sketch lines, after calculating the fall
in terms of x:12 ( a bit problematic--I'd go for the slope arrow method.

3. Use points to specify heights at all the corners. Again, a bit more work,
but gives specific control where needed.

Decking: I believe in 2011 the decking will be included if you have a structural
component as the roof.

cheers

I use flat roofs as well, I did it using #2 in Cliffs explanations above since I know what my pitch is. I use 3/8" per foot for my flat roofs.

Just sketch the roof. The sketch should also go around the alcove area in the front. The sketch lines should probably go along the inner line of the exterior walls.
Turn off the "define slope" for evey line except the one at your gutter.
Set that to be whatever your slope is X:12.

It should draw it for you perfectly.

I see you got the front area where the block columns are to work out. Nice job.

Yes, and yes. I would edit the profile.

You could try the "attach top/base" command. I'm not sure if the wall will know that only that small section can attach. You may want to check it out.

But if not, yes, use the edit profile command.
