Does anyone know where to find 3D people for Revit? I need actual 3D people, not 2D. All I can find are people that have thousands of faceted lines all over them. Any help would be great. thanks.

For shaded views,

You might try this:

Go to Google Warehouse-download some 3D People in .skp format

Then import them as "cad" into a "container" Revit Family.

Then load into your project.

just a thought.

( If you are rendering, then you can use RPC people--as they are not 3D objects
they are less calculation intensive and will improve render speed.)

cheers

Hi Cliff.

A 'container family'? Whats that? Dont see that as an option in the Family Templates!

no such thing, the 'container' wording looks like a verb not a noun.

.skp files import easily but are a real PITA to texture

.rpc people families work beautifully, there are several OOTB with plenty more available for purchase online.

Use the "Entourage" family templates.

It's unfortunate that we still need to import 3D people from DWGs! Anyway, check this out if you want hide faceted lines on those:
