What's the best way to handle color studies in Revit? I'm talking exterior color schemes, not room assignments.

I can make copies of my model and then take each material and go in and change it's color/texture properties, but that can't be the best way to handle it.

Thanks!

Take a look at Design Options.

You can have multiple "schemes" in the same model.

Sounds like a good way to acheive what you are after.

Will that really work for colors and materials? I thought the Design Options tool was for exploring different model configurations (different roof configurations, etc) Can you use it to just change materials? I thought an element in one Design Option could not be shared with other Design Options.

As Cliff said look closer. One of the things you can do is in one option leave the wall as is. On another you cna change the "style" of the wall, with just the finish material different in the two styles. I believe that even painting of the surface of a wall is handles in design options as well.
