Roof assistance please

I have been attempting to get a dutch gable onto my roof.. im stuck on the gable part.. i have attached what i have so far, and also the look im trying to get (disregard tall wrapped fascia)

please give me some direction on this.. i have been referencing this thread from 05 (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=39654)

Attached are the sketch lines i did when attempting to produce the look..

also, fascias wont line up.. bearing points and slope are same on both roofs

Simply pull the smaller roof down to line up with the main roof, then join geometry to make it all look like one roof.
