How do I access the design options from a linked file? Thanks.

VG: RVT link dialogue gets a DO tab, i think. I used to do it all the time, but havent in a few months so i dont remember.

But, i know youll want to set up a View template with the Design Options configured the way you want, becuase its a view by view setting in the Host model, as well.

I have been using Revit links for some time now. I have always thought it was strange that I could not control the linked models Options. I am glad to see there is a way.

I have followed the path to the RVT Link Display Settings but I don't see a tab for the Options. I must be in the wrong location?

You are in the right place but this RVT link has no options in it. Even though your project might have design options, they are not transferred to the link. The link has to be set up with its own options.

Thank you. It didn't dawn on me until this morning while eating breakfast that the link that I was looking at didn't have any options in it. Must have been more tired than I thought I was yesterday.
