I am starting a building with CMU in the lower level. Some of the CMU will have furred out Gyp. Bd. on one side. Sometimes the furring will be 4.25" off of the face, other times it will be more. Is the best practice to just create more wall types with the different furring distances or create a furring wall and place it alongside the CMU wall? I have tried both and found that the two-wall option doesn't display as nicely as the multiple-single-wall option. Did I just answer my own question? Suggestions are appreciated!

Both. We often use the two wall option in design mode (you can join the two to clean up the linework) and then change to a single wall as we get into refining and detailing. The two wall option is fast and usefull but sometimes creates strange intersections, i.e. at T intersections.

Thanks for the info! I didn't even think of the join tool, duh.
