RVT2011 - Linked MEP Model, Dimension Ducts?

Hi All,

Revit 2011. I've linked in my Mechanical Engineer's model. For some reason, I can't snap to their duct objects to dimension, in plan or section.

Am I doing it wrong? Is there a hidden button or something?

Try using Tab key to get to the actual duct.

Are they using Revit MEP? or AutoCad MEP?

They are using RVT 2011 MEP. When I tab around their duct, I can hit the mid point, but not the edges. Grrr.

Is it a round or oval duct?

I just opened a recent RAC/RMEP 2010 job and I could dimension to bot. of rectangular
ducts, but not round or flex ducts........
