Does someone know if this is possible:
I am trying to lock an area dimension. Say we have a 10' x 10' box...we want an area of 100 sq ft (this number, the area, to lock). Now if we move one wall to be 8', I am looking for the other wall to automatically readjust to 12.5' - is this possible? I know I can tweak the walls until the area is roughly 100' but I was looking to see if there was a way to do this with more precision.
I tried creating a parameter in a family, and I was able to make it work with reference planes... but couldn't apply walls to the reference planes. I set the Area = 100. L = 100/W. This worked fine within a family, but I cannot figure out how to apply it to a room.
