hello, this is my first post...ever.
my office is currently looking into using revit. we are interested in the benefits parametric modeling and BIM have for AEC practice (and of course ours). i've been waiting to hear from an autodesk revit sales rep for about a week, so i just started browsing the forums in the hope to get some research done. that being said, i would like to hear about people's experience working with structural engineers and sharing models. what analytical programs can work with revit models? staad pro, strudl? additionally, regarding work with detailers, do programs like xsteel/ tekla structures, etc. also work well with revit?
thanks in advance.
