Existing Walls: Object openings not cutting

I have an existing wall that has a new door to be put in it (Refer attachment).
I don't know if this is on purpose, but the door opening doesn't cut a hole through the existing wall :? . If this is so, then I think it should be changed so it does, since the hole should be considered a new object in the current phase.

Since the wall is in the "Existing" phase and the door is in "stage 1" phase,
change the phase filter to " show previous + new "
